Anushka, who sizzled with her stunning glamour in Madhavan starrer "Rendu", is struggling to make a comeback. Her scorching performance in the film did make many film personalities notice her and she was even recommended by a few heroes.

Anushka, who wanted to cash in the opportunity, suddenly raised her salary to 35 L. This had obviously irritated the producers, who opted for less expensive or more popular choices. The reaction came as a shock to Anushka, who went to Tollywood to pursue her career there. She got good reception in Telugu Desam, which gave her the salary she demanded.

Her Telugu films however have bombed at box office and hence Tollywood has shut its doors for the glam girl.

Following the failure, the hot girl has returned to Kollywood to try and make a comeback here. She is now said to be sending SMS to some of the leading directors requesting them to give her a chance. She has also made it clear that she is ready to compromise on her remuneration. Some directors seem to be receptive and a couple of directors have in principle accepted to cast her in their forthcoming films.

Let us hope that Anushka does well in her second innings.
